The Wimbledon Guild cares for people in need in our community. Every penny we raise is spent locally on providing services such as a comprehensive counselling service; small emergency cash grants; a furniture recycling service, an Activity and Social Centre for older people, which offers a varied and interesting monthly activities programme, day centre and lunch club; and Rosemary Lodge, our care home with nursing. We also help a wide variety of charities, self-help and community groups to support others in the community by making our facilities available to them for little or no rent. Rapid Effective Assistance for Children with Potentially Terminal illness is a dynamic charity working to improve the quality of life for financially disadvantaged children with life-limiting illnesses living in the UK.

Not only does hmvcurzon Wimbledon provide the local community with a place to engage with a diverse spectrum of films. It has also been used as a space for local businesses to meet in our fully licensed café-bar and provide businesses with the unique opportunity to hire our screens for corporate presentations and talks.
